Mariannhill Mission Press was founded 132 years ago at Mariannhill Monastery. Our Founder, Abbot Francis was a Trappist monk from Ausria. Trappist monks were known worldwide for hard work and lived by the motto “Ora et Labora” which means “Pray and Work”
